Spokes are loosened with general wear and tear while you ride your e-bike. You should check your spokes by pinching them together to see if they flex back into their original position. If they are loose, you will need to get your tires trued. Reach out to a local bike shop and ask for a quote to have your wheels trued! A general bike check-up wouldn't hurt either!
If this has happened suddenly, you may have run into something, over a large rock, or over a pothole or another obstacle. This can cause your spokes to loosen, which can in turn cause your wheel to become loose. Loose spokes and wheels can be dangerous. If your e-bike spokes are loose right out of the box, and you've bought your e-bike from one of SWFT's authorized retailers, please contact us to file a warranty claim.
If not, spoke loosening is outside of warranty coverage, as this mostly happens with general wear-and-tear as you use your e-bike. We recommend you do NOT ride your e-bike for a very long distance when you see your spokes are loose. Repairing loose spokes is pretty simple, however it should be done by a trusted bike-shop or bike professional. You can bring your e-bike to a service professional or a local bike shop to have your spokes tightened and or replaced.
