How does my Scooter’s Bluetooth Speaker work?
To play music through your e-scooter speaker using a Bluetooth connection, follow these steps:
- Turn on your e-scooter and listen for a ‘dingdong’ tone to announce that it’s ready to pair
- Open your device’s Bluetooth settings and ensure it's enabled before looking for your e-scooter's name of ‘SWFT XPRP’ in the available devices list.
- Select ‘SWFT XPRP’ and wait for your scooter to say ‘Paired’
- You’re now all set to listen to your favorite tracks!
Once paired, you can control volume etc. through your device.
Does the Scooter have a Security Lock feature?
Yes! After powering on your bike, you can unlock it either manually by passcode, by using the NFC card, or can set your bike up so that both are required:
- Passcode Unlock
Your manual contains a 4 digit default numeric password (provided in your scooter manual). Enter this code using the +/- keys to scroll through the numbers and enter each one. Press the power button to confirm each number until all 4 are entered.
- NFC Unlock
Just hold the card against the scooter’s monitor reader to unlock it when you’re ready to ride!
Can I disable the Lock Feature?
Yes – in your scooter settings you are able to customize whether only the password is turned on, only the NFC is turned on, or both are turned on.
However, we strongly recommend that you have both functions enabled, for extra security.
Setting a New Password
Once your scooter is unlocked, hold the Cruise button and click the Power button 3 times to enter the Settings.
From here, the first digit displayed will blink, allowing you to scroll using the +/- keys and enter a new password of your choosing. Press the power button to select each one and move to the next until all are entered.
Once the last digit is confirmed, all digits will flash 3 times. After this, power off and restart your scooter.
Oops, I forgot my password….
It happens, but we’ve got you covered! For assistance with this please contact Customer Service at hello@rideswft.com. For security reasons, we’ll require proof of purchase if you have not already registered your ride.
